Flotilla
Flotilla is a great way to discover new friends and new sailing areas. Whether you're an experienced skipper that likes to sail in company or new to sailing and want a helping hand, Flotilla is the answer.
Our Flotilla follows two routes within the Gulf of hiasaonu, provding the opportunity to sail he area for two weeks wihout reviiting the same bays.
Flotilla Format. Each mornng yor experienced Flotilla lead team will brief you on the chosen route for the day and where to meet in the evening. You will also be briefed on sites to see enroute and recommended stopping points for a swimor snack enroute to the evening destination. The flotilla generally follows the planned route may it can vary if weather conditions dictate. The lead crew are constantly available via VHF should you need any assistance.

Stepping onboard your chosen yacht in the beautiful Orhaniye bay, you will meet your lead crew, Ipek your hostess and engineer Ahmet.
Enjoy a Turkish meal in the local restaurant and then after a good night's sleep wake to the glorious view across the bay. A briefing on the sailing area follows breakfast then cast off and set sail heading for your first destination Sailors Paradise or Dirsek. Both these bays are idealic, neither is accessible by road everything is either caught locally or brought in by boat. There is one restaurant in each of these bays run by the same family and have been for many years. The food is good Turkish cuisine cooked to order. Toilets and showers are available onshore but electricity is by generator and so not put on until it gets dark. A great way to start your Turkish adventure.
Monday ,
it's off to Datca or Hiyat Buku. Datca is a medium sized town with lots of shops and eating places to explore. Hiyat Buku is a lot smaller and is where you'll find Ogun's place which has been in business wth the same family for over 20 years, some great stories to be told by your host.
Tuesday
Now so it's set your course for Palamut or Knidos. Palamut is a small harbour village with some wonderful restaurants for the real foodies.it also boasts a long sandy beach for those that need to let off steam. Knidos is a horseshoe bay that house's some Byzantine ruins which make for some great exploring. Only one restaurant here but it is good.
Wednesday
Free sailing day. Your lead crew will head over to the Greek island of Symi and you are welcome to join them or, alternatively, head off and explore on your own. Whatever you decide to do, you will get expert advice on course and places to visit from Ipek.
Thursday
It's time to meet up again. Selimiye or Sogut Limani. Selimiye is a lovely village with some cute boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Sogut is a big bay with crystal clear water just waiting to be snorkelled in. Home to Octopus restaurant with it's large we'll established jetty you can be sure of a great meal.

Friday already and time to get back to home port, Orhaniye. You will have seen a variety of what this coast has to offer and with your skills now a little more developed, time to think about coming back bareboat so you can discover more wonders of this beautiful coastline.
